HIST 1301 is the first half of American history from the age of exploration to Reconstruction following the Civil War. It is a three credit hour course with no prerequisites and will transfer by title to virtually any university. The state of Texas requires students to pass a total of six credit hours of American history to graduate from college and this course will help fulfill that obligation.
