Welcome to Whatley's
Online ANTH 2351!
ANTH 2351, Cultural Anthropology, is a three credit hour course
with no prerequisites and will transfer to most universities. This course will
fill a humanities, social science, international, and/or multicultural requirement
in many degree plans. Below are links to pages related to the class.
The syllabus contains all of the information
about the class for this semester including a brief outline, grading criteria,
and tentative exam schedule. All testing is done online. (For the December Minimester syllabus click here.)
For each of the exams I post a review sheet to
help you focus your studies.
I also have a page of Study Tips for this class. In fact, they'll help you get 'A's in all of your classes.
The textbook publisher, Wadsworth, has a
web site for the textbook that includes web links mentioned in the book,
Cultural Anthropology in the News, Case Studies, self-tests, and some other
cool stuff. You can also rent the book or buy access to an ebook here.
If you are really ambitious and want to know more about anthropology or just
need something extra to master the material presented in the course spend some
time at Anthropology Tutorials
maintained by Dennis O'Neil of Palomar College in San Marcos, California.
