Our History
Our history with Blinn College goes back to 1990 when the SBDC office was relocated from the City of Brenham to the College. Blinn College has been the driving force in providing training and education for Washington County since 1883.
The Mission of the Institution reflects its dedication to serving the educational needs of the citizens of the region by providing educational experiences and opportunities that meet the changing needs of business and industry. To this end, in partnershipwith the University of Houston SBDC Network, Blinn College fully supports the operations of this SBDC— financially, physically, philosophically.
The SBDC at Blinn College is one of the oldest existing and on-going centers in the region.
