Selecting a Class
Now that you are in college, you have the freedom to create your own schedule. You can choose from a variety of classes, campuses and times by checking the course schedule. The course schedule can be found online at www.blinn.edu in BORIS or printed copies may be picked up on any campus.
Distance Education
Distance Education classes at Blinn College give students an opportunity to access an education from anywhere at anytime. The following distance education options are available:
• Online (Internet) Courses
Students work within a virtual classroom interacting with their instructor and fellow classmates using the tools within the WebCT environment. These courses are indicated in the course schedule using an “N” for the section number.
• Blended Courses
Students attend class half the time with the remainder spent participating in the online environment. These courses are indicated using “B.”
• Interactive Video Courses
The instructor will be on one campus and teaching students both there and at another campus connected with two-way interactive video. These courses are indicated using “V.”
