Admissions
Anyone with a high school diploma or General Education Development (GED) certificate
is eligible to enter Blinn.
New Students
Requirements for admission:
• Complete the Blinn College application or the Texas Common Application
at https://www.applytexas.org
• Submit your THEA test scores or provide exemption status based on
ACT, SAT or TAKS
• Submit your official high school transcript or GED certificate
• If applicable, submit any official college transcripts
Transferring to Blinn College
Transfer students are those students who have 12 hours of college credits.
Fewer than 12 hours is still considered a new student.
• Complete the Blinn College application or the Texas Common Application
at https://www.applytexas.org
• Submit your THEA test scores or provide exemption based on ACT, SAT or TAKS
• Submit your official transcript from all colleges or universities attended. Only credits from regionally accredited institutions are accepted.
