High School Visits
The Blinn College Recruiting Office will make
personal visits to high schools throughout the state of Texas.
Members of
the recruiting team are available to attend college day/night
programs, set up a general information table in the cafeteria
or library during student’s lunch hours, make classroom
presentations or host a school assembly.
As a member of TACRAO (Texas Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers), the Recruiting Office will give preference
to college day/night programs included on the TACRAO recruiting
schedule. High schools within the Blinn College service area
will also be given preference when scheduling a visit. Counselors
are encouraged to make an appointment for a high school visit
as early as possible. To make an appointment for Blinn College
to visit your school, please call the Recruiting Office at
979-830-4152.
Counselor packets are available to all high school counselors.
Packets are customizable and may include a variety of items such as viewbooks, catalogs, admissions
applications, scholarship information, housing applications and technical program brochures. Time sensitive material, such as course schedules
