Blinn College is on the calling list with Brazos County's District Automated Alert System. In the event of severe weather conditions, Blinn on the Bryan campus will be notified. The campus police will activate the CIRT if the weather dictates a shelter-in-place response. Providing shelter-in-place means to direct people to windowless classrooms and interior hallways. Since the buildings do not have interior stairwells, the people on the top floor must stay on the top floor. It is not an evacuation process.
