Student's Rights Under FERPA

Everyone attending Blinn College is a FERPA eligible student and has the right to . . .

inspect and review thier educational record;
amend their educational records of inaccurate or misleading information;
have some control over the disclosure of thier educational record and prevent unauthorized disclosure;
file a complaint with the U.S. Department of Education (DOE) about a violation of FERPA; and
waive these rights in writing.
