- By Internet: Pay by credit
card when you register on the Internet
- By phone: Pay by credit card when you register by phone

- Installment Plan: Make arrangements with the Business Office.
Note: The installment plan is only available for Fall and
Spring semesters.

Veterans Educational Benefits
Blinn College offers several programs and services that have
been developed to help veterans meet their educational
goals. If you are active duty military personnel, a reservist,
or a dependent of a veteran who is 100% disabled or deceased
due to a service- related injury, you may qualify for educational
benefits through the Veterans Administration. Apply

Starting Classes
- Verify your class schedule and location
- Pick up student ID and parking sticker at Enrollment Services
Office before classes begin to avoid long lines
- Purchase books
before classes begin to avoid long lines
- Save your receipt (required to sell books back to the
bookstore)
- Always attend the first class meeting
- Arrive early (parking may take time)
Maintaining Satisfactory Academic Progress
- The college monitors academic standards of progress.
- You must maintain a cumulative 2.0 GPA ("C" Average)
- Failure to maintain satisfactory academic progress
will result in probation, suspension, and/or dismissal.
- Progress is based on ALL courses attempted at Blinn
Prior to Withdrawing
- Most students balance school, work and family. If you
are encountering problems with succeeding in school, it is
important to:
- Discuss your reasons for withdrawing
with your instructor, counselor, or advisor and examine alternatives
- Financial Aid recipients must also contact the Financial
Aid Office
- Students living on campus (Brenham) must also contact
the Housing Office
- Consider the impact of withdrawals. Withdrawals may affect
your financial aid status, insurance coverage, and transfer
ratings to some colleges/universities
Withdrawals
- Students must initiate withdrawal from course(s)
through the Enrollment Services Office.
- Students may be withdrawn by the instructor from developmental
classes if they have missed two or more weeks of class.
- Check the academic calendar or course schedule for withdrawal
dates for each semester.

Failure to formally withdraw from any course by the stated
deadline may result in a failing grade.
