Registration for the Spring semester is open through Monday, Jan. 20
January 8, 2020
The Blinn College District will be busier than ever this winter.
A College-record 2,160 students have enrolled in this year’s Winter Minimester, which allows Blinn students to make faster progress toward their degree by earning college credit during the holiday season. All of Blinn’s Winter Minimester courses are taken online, allowing students to complete their coursework while enjoying the holidays.
Blinn’s student enrollment total represents a 9.2% increase over last winter’s census date enrollment. Together, these students will total 104,448 contact hours, the hours of scheduled instruction provided to students. Contact hours are used by the state as part of the formula to determine state funding.
Blinn’s upcoming Spring semester begins on Tuesday, Jan. 21, and registration is available through Monday, Jan. 20.
For added convenience, Blinn will offer its full slate of student services from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 11. Blinn will offer academic advising, enrollment services, financial aid, business services, disability services, and housing services, and staff also will answer questions over the phone (Enrollment Services: 979-830-4800, Advising: 979-209-7250, Financial Aid: 979-830-4908, Business Services: 979-830-6498).

Students must pay or establish a payment plan the same day they register for classes to maintain their chosen course schedule.
