Prospective students can learn more about upcoming criminal justice and public administration degree programs offered through Blinn College and Tarleton State University at The Texas A&M University System’s RELLIS Campus during a series of events beginning next week on the Blinn College-Bryan Campus.

Representatives from Tarleton will be available to meet with students from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 7; Tuesday, Feb. 20; and Wednesday, March 7, in the Student Center lobby to share information and answer questions.

Blinn College will offer Associate of Arts degrees in criminal justice, liberal arts, and psychology, and an Associate of Science degree in business at the RELLIS Campus, providing comprehensive pathways for students en route to their bachelor’s degree from Tarleton.

"This is a wonderful opportunity for Blinn students and anyone interested in pursuing a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice or public administration to learn about what RELLIS offers,” said Brandon Franke, Blinn College Dean of Social Sciences.

The bachelor’s degree programs in criminal justice and public administration from Tarleton will begin classes at the RELLIS Campus in Fall 2018. University officials also will visit Blinn criminal justice and government classes throughout the semester to inform students of this unique academic opportunity.

Blinn College and Texas A&M System officials will be on hand in the Blinn-Bryan Student Center lobby throughout the spring semester to describe the vision for the RELLIS Campus and the full range of degree programs offered. Students seeking more information can visit the Student Center lobby between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 7; Thursday, Feb. 15; Tuesday, Feb. 20; and Thursday, March 1.

In Fall 2018, Blinn will open a new facility at The Texas A&M System RELLIS Campus to allow Blinn students to complete their four-year degrees from Texas A&M System regional universities onsite. Each program at the RELLIS Academic Alliance creates a seamless pathway for students to earn a bachelor’s degree in related fields from an A&M System university, including Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, Prairie View A&M University, Tarleton State University, Texas A&M International University, West Texas A&M University, Texas A&M University-Texarkana, Texas A&M University-Kingsville and Texas A&M University-Central Texas.
