SBA Houston District hosting Small Business Lending Roundtable at Blinn

Event is free and open to those looking to start or expand their business or farm

The Blinn College Small Business Development Center (SBDC) will take part in a Small Business Lending Roundtable Tuesday, Nov. 13, in the conference room at the Blinn College-Brenham Campus Student Center. 

The free event is open to the public and designed for those looking to start or expand a business or farm. The U.S. Small Business Administration Houston District will host the event. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. and the event runs from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. To register in advance, please visit https://brenhamlending.eventbrite.com.

Those attending the event will learn about the assistance and loans offered by the Blinn College Small Business Development Center (SBDC), United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Farm Service Agency (FSA), and other support organizations that can help start or grow a business or farm. Business owners and potential business owners will learn how Blinn’s SBDC helps with all aspects of businesses free of charge. Blinn’s SBDC services include developing a business plan, loan application assistance, market research, preparing financial proposals, and more.

The event also will offer networking opportunities and a question-and-answer session. A continental breakfast also will be included.
