Blinn College Alumni and Friends Association seeks Hall of Honor nominations

The Blinn College Alumni and Friends Association seeks nominations for its 2018 Hall of Honor class.

The Hall of Honor recognizes Blinn’s most distinguished alumni, local business leaders, and those who have made a significant impact in their communities or professions. Inductees are recognized at a luncheon during Blinn’s homecoming festivities each year.

To nominate a civic leader with ties to the Blinn College District, please complete and submit the nomination form found at here to Dr. Kyle Merten, Director of Resource Development and Alumni Relations, at 979-830-4495 or kyle.merten@blinn.edu. The deadline for nominations is Friday, June 15.

Each nomination will remain active for three years or until the nominee has been selected for the Hall of Honor.

The Selection Committee will consider the candidates’ affiliation to and influence on Blinn, career and leadership success, and participation in community, state, or national activities.

Inductees will be honored at this year’s Hall of Honor luncheon on Friday, Oct. 19.

The Alumni and Friends Association maintains contact with all former students and friends of the College, encourages support for and participate in the educational, cultural, athletic and social programs of the College, encourages personnel recruitment of students by members, assists the College in achieving planned goals and objectives and provides fellowship among former students and friends.
