Blinn’s Computer Repair Fair offers solutions for computer errors

PC and network troubleshooting students will fix bugs, boost performance

June 20, 2016

Blinn College – Schulenburg students are offering free computer troubleshooting during the College’s third annual Computer Repair Fair.

Graduates of Blinn’s advanced personal computing and network troubleshooting classes will provide free maintenance and troubleshooting for anyone who drops their computer off between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday, June 27-30, at Blinn’s Schulenburg campus located at 100 Ranger Drive.

Those who bring in their computer need only bring their tower and/or laptop along with the appropriate power cord. Participants can pick up their computers from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, July 1.

Computers, monitors, printers and external devices can also be dropped off for recycling throughout the week. Any personal information will be removed before being sent to the Dell Recycling Center for refurbishment and donation to Goodwill.

Blinn will offer its next series of basic computer courses for those seeking an introduction to the world of computers beginning Sept. 7, and will offer the advanced personal computing and troubleshooting courses again next May.

Blinn – Schulenburg offers a variety of academic transfer, workforce training and continuing education classes to fit the needs of any student. For information on course offerings and student registration, visit: www.blinn.edu/schulenburg or call 979-743-5200.
