New Blinn-Schulenburg course teaches family historians to preserve cherished memories

Students will learn techniques to create compelling family and personal histories

The Blinn College-Schulenburg campus is introducing a new course to help family historians gather and preserve cherished memories.

The non-credit course, Preserving Your Family Story, will meet at 2 p.m. on Wednesdays, March 30 through May 18. The class is $79 and pre-registration is required.

Taught by Fayette County author Elaine Thomas, the eight-week course will help turn family stories into valuable treasures. Students will learn and practice techniques to plan, research, organize, write and produce a compelling collection of memories worth sharing.
