Blinn-Sealy’s computer-aided design course prepares students for variety of fields

Evening course will begin Sept. 22

Blinn College-Sealy campus will offer a computer-aided design course this fall that teaches students to produce high-quality engineering, architecture and manufacturing designs.

The $300 course, DFTG 1013: Introduction to AutoCAD, runs Tuesdays and Thursdays, Sept. 22 through Nov. 5, from 6-9 p.m. Those interested in taking the course can visit the Blinn-Sealy campus at 3701 Outlet Mall Dr. #250 in Sealy.
Certificates of Completion are available to students who want an introduction to computer-aided drafting and design as well as to professionals looking to advance their skills.

Program completion qualifies candidates for computer-aided drafting positions in a number of fields, including architecture, interior design, construction, manufacturing and engineering. Many graduates from continuing education programs are equipped with the skills necessary to obtain upper-level drafting positions, including pipeline, interior design, civil engineering and architectural drafter.
