Candidates raise $4,200 for CASA for Kids
Sophomores Cody Witzkoski and Nicole Weyand were named Blinn College’s Homecoming king and queen at halftime of Saturday’s football game at Cub Stadium.
Witzkoski, a sophomore from Wallis, is a veterinary medicine major representing the ag club.
Weyand, a sophomore from Brenham, is a marketing and advertising major representing the Blinn Lions Club.
Blinn’s Homecoming king and queen candidates raised $4,200 for CASA for Kids, which recruits, trains and supports volunteers to represent the best interests of abused and neglected children in the courtroom and other settings.
