Will teach small business owners to get most from accounting software
Blinn College’s Small Business Development Center is hosting a basic QuickBooks course designed to teach small business owners how to get the most out of their accounting software.
The class will be held Aug. 21 from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. and is designed for those who are new to accounting software.

The course is taught by Shirley Beum of Seidel Schroeder Company, a certified QuickBooks instructor, at Blinn’s Sealy campus located at 3701 Outlet Center Drive.
The cost is $80 per person and pre-registration is required. Register online at www.blinn.edu/sbdc and save $15.
The SBDC at Blinn College is a business consulting and training center that is part of the University of Houston Small Business Development Center Network, which serves 32 counties in Southeast Texas. The center provides free one-on-one consulting and low-cost training seminars. SBDC programs are nondiscriminatory and available to individuals with disabilities.
