Trio of Blinn players named to All-Conference Team

Three Blinn College baseball players were named to the Region XIV South All-Conference team. Freshman centerfielder Brandon Lawrence (Buda Hays) hit .343 with six doubles, seven homeruns, and 25 RBI in conference play. Sophomore first baseman David Tittle (Kingwood) hit .380 with ten doubles, four homeruns, and 29 RBI. Sophomore infielder Michael Guerra (Alvin) hit .390 with 12 doubles, seven homeruns, and 36 RBI.

Head coach Harvey McIntyre also announced that right-handed pitcher Colton Eubanks (Caldwell) committed to play at Stephen F. Austin University. Eubanks is 3-3 with 12 appearances this year.

The Bucs finished the regular season with a 33-19 record, winning nine out of their last ten games. Blinn will be the No. 2 South seed in the Region XIV tournament at Northeast Texas Community College in Mt. Pleasant. The Bucs will open against Northeast Texas at 1 p.m. on May 15.
