Borchardt seeks election to Blinn College board
Douglas R. Borchardt has announced his candidacy for election to the Precinct 2 position on the Blinn College board of trustees. The Precinct 2 and Precinct 3 seats on the board are the only positions up for election.
Borchardt, a local banking executive, filed the appropriate paperwork earlier this week to run for the full, six-year term.
The Precinct 2 position is currently held by incumbent Don Jones, who announced he was running for reelection on February 15. The filing period ends on March 8, with the elections taking place on May 8.
