Blinn Legal Assisting program information session to include mock courtroom

The Nov. 19 information session for Blinn College’s Legal Assisting program will include a demonstration of courtroom proceedings to illustrate the role prospective students could play in legal settings. The information session will be held at 6:15 p.m. in the Student Center in room 120 on the Bryan campus on Villa Maria Road near E. 29th Street. Prospective students can also learn more about the program from the faculty that includes local attorneys and judges. And there will be assistance for filling out admissions forms.

The one-year certificate and two-year associate degree plans include family law, litigation, personal injury, trusts probate, criminal law, and legal research along with other legal areas necessary for work in a law office, courtroom, or other legal setting.

For more information on the program or the upcoming session, contact Legal Assisting program coordinator Robert Stanberry at (979) 209-7399, robert.stanberry@blinn.edu, or student facilitator Sarah Kelley at (979) 209-7308, sarah.kelley@blinn.edu.
