Christensen named Student of the Year

Seth Christensen of Brenham has become the first Blinn College representative to ever receive the title of Student of the Year from the Texas Junior College Student Government Association.

Christensen, you has served as president of the Brenham campus SGA this past year, was earlier named Region 4 Student of the Year at the regional meeting hosted by Blinn.

The state award was presented at the state meeting held April 10-13 at the Renaissance at Greenway Plaza in Houston.

Christensen, who has also been a drum major for the Blinn College Buccaneer Marching Band, plans to attend Texas A&M University and major in political science
