Swincher named Student Government president at Blinn College

Michael Reese Swincher of Dripping Springs has been elected president of the Blinn College - Brenham Student Government Association for the 2008-2009 academic year.

The Student Government Association is the official voice of the student body. SGA provides an opportunity for students to participate in the college’s decision-making process. The organization coordinates student homecoming activities and approves student club activities and fundraisers.

Other officers elected were: Jarrett Skelton of La Grange, vice president; Katie Robertson of Smithville, secretary; and David Spence of Texas City, treasurer.
