Sept. 10, 2007 Roper presented association’s award Roper, who has left coaching to devote more time to his family and to teach full-time on the college’s Bryan campus, was honored as the first recipient of the association’s award, which stands for “Pride, Honor and Dedication.” The banquet, which featured retired NFL referee Red Cashion
as the guest speaker, was held to raise funds to support the Blinn athletic
