Family of Pat Ratcliff establishes scholarship
at Blinn College
The family and friends of a late Anderson resident
have established an endowed scholarship at Blinn College in her
memory.
The Martha Jane (Pat) Ratcliff Scholarship will
be awarded to students in the associate degree nursing program on
the Blinn campus in Bryan.
The late Mrs. Ratcliff was a registered nurse who
had served her country in the Army during World War II. She passed
away in June.
"She wanted to do something that would make
a difference," said her husband, John Ratcliff. "As a
registered nurse, she wanted to help alleviate the shortage of registered
nurses."
John Ratcliff was joined by his brother, James Ratcliff,
and other family and friends in establishing the scholarship.
Anyone interested in contributing may send donations
to: Blinn College Foundation, 902 College Ave., Brenham, Texas 77833.
Indicate in the memo line that the contribution is for the Ratcliff
Scholarship.
