Faculty, Staff and Student Organizations who wish to announce an internal campus event are responsible for creating their own flier/poster for the event. Finished size options are 8 1/2 x 11, 11 x 17, 24 x 36, or 5 1/2 x 4 1/4. To ensure the quickest turnaround, the documents should follow these guidelines:
Clearly state the name of the event including date, time and location
Clearly state the name of the sponsoring/hosting department/group
Contain no use of Blinn College verbiage or logo marks
Can be digital color or black-and-white
Have a minimum quarter inch free white space on all edges
Submitted as a pdf
Submitted to Marketing and Communications for approval via the Internal Event Flier/Poster Request form
The request form contains required fields which will also ask for method of distribution, budget code, delivery date, etc.
Faculty, Staff and Student Organizations are encouraged to ensure that they have permission, in writing if necessary, to use text, images, artwork, photos, etc. to ensure compliance with plagiarism and copyright laws.
Once approved, the office of Marketing and Communications will send the file for printing and associated costs will be charged to the supplied budget code.
The office of Marketing and Communication and print vendor will not be responsible for the print quality of the finished product.
All fliers and posters should be removed immediately following the event.
Distribution of internal event fliers and posters is not permitted off campus.
