County-by-county election
results in Texas from 1845 to 1990 are available in The
Texas Almanac’s Political History of Texas, available
in the Reference or Reserves collection in the library (call number
is R 320.4764 K619t).
To find results from 1992
to the present, go to Office
of the Secretary of State: ELECTION HISTORY website and follow
these instructions:

menu and select the “general election” for the
desired year
Click the radio button
next to “County by County Canvass Report”
Click “Submit”
Choose
the office you are researching, e.g. “Governor”
Click “Submit”
