Library Session Definitions

 

CLASSROOM INSTRUCTION : A librarian will provide formal instruction on library resources, including (but not limited to) the Blinn library catalog, and periodical databases. Also includes time for students to work on library-related assignments with the librarian in the room, assisting students. These sessions may be customized based on class needs.

ZOOM INSTRUCTION : A librarian will provide formal instruction on library resources, via the Zoom online platform, including (but not limited to) the Blinn library catalog, and periodical databases. These sessions may be customized based on class needs. Zoom instruction is available for all course formats.

RESEARCH : The library classroom will be reserved for your class. No formal instruction or handouts are provided by a librarian. However, a librarian will be available at the Research Assistance Desk if students need help with their research. If you would like to have a librarian present in the classroom to help students with their research, please indicate that in the "Additional Instructions" field.
