Library Cards A current Blinn College ID must be presented to check out any material, including reserves. Circulation and Fines Books may be checked out for a two-week period and may be renewed unless requested by another patron. Renewals may be requested in person, over the telephone, or online. Each overdue item accrues a fine of 25 cents per day, including weekends and holidays. An outside bookdrop is located by the back entrance of the library building. Lost Materials Each student is responsible for items checked out with his Blinn College ID and is required to pay the replacement value, processing fees and any fines on lost materials. Damaged materials will have a fee assessed according to the repair cost. Administrative Holds Any student who neglects to pay library debts or return library materials will be placed on Blinn College Administrative Holds at the end of the current semester. Texshare Card Program The TexShare Card Program allows Blinn students to borrow materials from participating libraries. Bring your Blinn College ID to any Blinn College Library service desk to apply for aTexShare Card.
