Students | Instructors | Proctored non-Blinn Exams

We proctor exams for Blinn College distance courses (Internet and blended sections), make-up exams for traditional on-campus courses, and non-Blinn courses.

Students
  • The deadline for the exam is set by the instructor
  • A current Blinn I.D., current driver’s license, or other photo I.D. is required to take any test unless an instructor is present to identify the student at the time of the exam
  • All exams must begin 1.5 hours before closing, 2 hours before closing during finals
  • Appointments are required for computerized exams or for use of a private testing room (NOTE: All students who request a private testing room must first contact the Office of Disability Services)

Procedures: If you are testing, come to the Testing Desk. We will request your instructor's name and a current photo ID. You will be allowed to take the exam, if your instructor has left your name on the list and if the deadline has not passed. You will take your exam in our Testing Area. The Testing Area is separate from the Computer Lab and Tutoring Area. It is proctored by a member of the staff and monitored by cameras and recording equipment. Books, notes, cell phones, MP3 players, food and drinks are NOT allowed in the Testing Area.

See the Distance Education page for questions or problems with your Internet or Blended course.

The Learning Center does not administer standardized tests. Click here for THEA, ACT, SAT, GED, HOBET, and NET exam information.
