Help is on the Way Study Skills Workshops - The Carl D. Perkins Grant Office offers 10-12 workshops each semester. Not all students arrive on campus with the academic and study skills that they need to be successful in their college courses. These workshops will be offered to help students build skills in a number of personal and academic areas. These one-hour workshops are scheduled on varying dates and at varying times, in order to accommodate students' work and school schedules.

Study Skills Resources - College study skills and resources: test taking, reading, writing, and Internet search skills.

The Writing Center - The mission of The Bryan Writing Center is to help students become better writers. This is accomplished in a comfortable environment through one-on-one consultations with experienced, degreed writing tutors. The Writing Center is not an editing service, we will work with writers during any stage of the writing process: understanding an assignment, choosing a topic, brainstorming, planning, revising, editing, and documenting sources. Rather than focusing on a specific piece of writing during a session, the tutors help students improve their writing skills overall.

Developmental Reading & Writing Lab - If you are a READ, STDY, or ENGL 0320, 0321 student, you can come in for tutoring during open hours. Our tutors can help you with your assignments. They will not do your work for you, but they will help you understand the skills and concepts that your assignments are calling for and developing.

Blinn College Student Counseling - Blinn College's Counseling Services provides students with a range of resources to assist them in formulating plans and making decisions in various phases of their academic, personal, and vocational development. Personal and Confidential Counselors assist students in understanding themselves and achieving their personal goals. Students may see a counselor for a variety of personal reasons, including: improving communication skills, increasing self-confidence, relationship issues, substance abuse issues, and coping with feelings of anxiety or depression.

Standardized Tests - THEA, ACT, SAT, GED, HOBET, and NET exam information.

Blinn College Library - Library home page.
