Housing Helpful Hints
When you send in your housing application and deposit, you are
placed on the waiting list for the semester you apply for. The
list is first come, first serve.
A deposit of $200 will cover
a residence hall or a $300 deposit will cover the apartment
and/or residence hall. This deposit
is refundable if you follow the procedures for cancellation.
Be
sure to fill out the housing application completely. Mark which
hall and meal plan you would prefer. Please check the
telephone item on the application. If you want
to room with
someone specific, be sure to put his/her name and a social
security number on the application.
Be sure to tell the person
you would like to live with to do the same by putting your
name and social security number
on
his/her application. This does not guarantee your living
together, but
it improves your chances.
The most important detail is to
APPLY EARLY! The earlier you send in the money, the better
chance you have of getting
the
residence hall or apartment of your choice. Remember
that you must send the application and deposit together to be
placed
on the list. Sending an application by itself will not
place you
on the list.
