Texas Guaranteed Tuition Plan Handbook

The Texas Guaranteed Tuition Plan, the state’s prepaid tuition program, pays for undergraduate tuition and required fees to colleges on your behalf each term that you are enrolled.

The Texas Guaranteed Tuition Plan does not cover room and board, transportation, books, laboratory fees or other fees required for specific courses.

Those fees not covered by the Texas Guaranteed Tuition Plan will be the responsibility of the student.

Please see Texas Tuition Guaranteed Plan for more information.

Please see Texas’s Tomorrow’s College Investment Plan for more information on other State of Texas college saving plans.

To use your Texas Guaranteed Tuition Plan at Blinn College:

• Failure to present the required documents before the scheduled payment dates could result in your classes being dropped for non-payment.

• The Texas Guaranteed Tuition Plan will not be awarded if the authorization form is not completed or a clean copy of the Texas Guaranteed Tuition Plan identification card or account statement with account number has been received.

• Check your Financial Aid Tracking on BORIS to ensure all documents have been received and funds have been awarded.
