Texas Guaranteed Tuition Plan Handbook
The Texas Guaranteed Tuition Plan, the state’s prepaid tuition
program, pays for undergraduate tuition and required fees to colleges
on your behalf each term that you are enrolled.
The Texas Guaranteed
Tuition Plan does not cover room and board, transportation, books,
laboratory fees or other fees required for
specific courses.
Those fees not covered by the Texas Guaranteed
Tuition Plan will be the responsibility of the student.

To use your Texas Guaranteed Tuition Plan at Blinn College:
1. Furnish a clean copy of your Texas Guaranteed Tuition Plan
identification card, or an account statement if this is your first
time to use your funds.
2. Complete the Texas
Tuition Guaranteed Tuition Authorization Form.
3. Submit these completed documents
to your Financial Aid Department before the scheduled Payment
Due Date for your registration period.
4. Accounts will be billed for hours enrolled as of the 12th class
day of the semester (the 4th class day for summer semesters).

Tips:
• Failure to present the required documents before
the scheduled payment dates could result in your classes being
dropped for
non-payment.
• The Texas Guaranteed Tuition Plan will not
be awarded if the authorization form is not completed or a clean
copy of
the Texas
Guaranteed Tuition Plan identification card or account
statement with account number has been received.
• Check your Financial
Aid Tracking on BORIS to ensure all documents have been received
and funds have been awarded.
