of tone and intent. Linsey will share methods of creating a carefully
professional tone through the employment of “boilerplate.” She will also
talk about the requirements of netiquette and the defusing of potential
“situations,” including the limits of apologies, through neutral reliance
on institutional policies and authority. |

thinking critically and advancing their knowledge.
