Steps to Begin my Interactive Video Course

1. Assess your decision to take an Interactive Video Course

While these courses are considered Distance Learning, you do meet with your instructor on a regular basis. The main consideration with regard to these courses is that your instructor may not be on the same campus you are. Some students prefer to have an instructor immediately in front of them. If you are this type of student, do not take an interactive video course.

2. Register for the course via BORIS or the telephone registration system.

BORIS is the Blinn Online Registration and Information System. [How do I register using BORIS?]

Telephone registration is also available.

3. Purchase your textbooks.

Books for Distance Learning courses may differ from those in traditional courses. Make sure you purchase the correct book at the Blinn College Bookstore*.

4. Attend class

Your schedule should indicate the meeting place for your interactive video course. Attend class at that time and place.
