National Entrance Tests

 

ACT / SAT Test

The ACT or SAT Test is required for freshman admissions to many four-year colleges and universities. Test scores may also be used for exemption and placement purposes at two-year/community colleges. Blinn College does not require the ACT or SAT Test as a requirement for admission.

ACT is offered at the Brenham Campus only

SAT is offered at the Brenham and Bryan Campuses  

How to register 

  • Online:
        ACT: www.act.org
        SAT: www.collegeboard.com
  • By mail – registration packets are available at public high schools and colleges
  • Admission Ticket and Photo ID required for admission to test
  • Walk-in standby test-takers will not be admitted. 
  • Changes to test center, test date or test type will not be permitted on test day.

State Test Exemptions Scores

Students may be exempt from taking the state-mandated placement test if they satisfy the following minimum test scores on the ACT, SAT, or TAKS Tests:
