The Blinn College Department of Communications publicizes the many accomplishments and successes of Blinn College programs, initiatives, events, employees, and students. Using traditional mass communication vehicles as well as social media, the Department of Communications works alongside local, state, and national media partners to make the community aware of the many ways in which Blinn is committed to educational excellence and to individual and community enhancement. Internally, the Department of Communications communicates the Colleges messages and announcements to faculty, staff, and students.

The Department of Communications manages each of Blinn’s official College social media accounts, and assists College programs and organizations in establishing and managing their own accounts.
