Certified Medication Aide and Renewal
Blinn’s Certified Medication Aide Program, designed for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), covers a wide range of topics required for proper medication administration. After completing the course, students will be prepared to take the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) Medication Aide Licensure Exam.
For those already licensed as certified medication aides, Blinn offers a refresher course that meets the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) requirements for maintaining certification.
Program Highlights
Blinn's 140-hour, $805 Certified Medication Aide Program covers medical abbreviations, symbols, terminology, and common equivalents required for medication administration. Topics include drug legislation, drug references, basic anatomy and physiology, and common diseases.Registration is Open for May, Summer, and Fall Classes!
