Buccaneers Defeat Panola
The Blinn College Women's Basketball team returned home Tuesday night to face Region XIV foe Panola College. The Bucs went down to the wire in a 83-81 victory. Terrah Austin and Bre'teka Mock each scored19 points.

In Snyder, Texas the Blinn College Women's Basketball team defeated Western Texas College 75-60. The win moves the Buccaneers to 2-3 overall on the season.

Blinn Lady Bucs received NJCAA all-American recognition
Two members of the Blinn College women's basketball team have received National Junior College Athletic Association all-American recognition.
Guard Timila Martin, a 5-6 sophomore from Bryan, was named to the third team, and forward Alisha Williams, a 5-11 sophomore also from Bryan, received honorable mention honors.
Martin, who averaged 15.7 points and 4.1 assists this past season, was earlier named the Region 14 most valuable player. Her 486 points on the season was the fifth-most in Blinn team history.
Williams was named all-region and all-conference, averaging 12.8 points and 7.2 rebounds per game. She is 19th in all-time scoring with 396 points and 18th in all-time rebounding with 227.
Martin and Williams are two of 11 sophomores head coach Jeff Jenkins will have to replace from a team that finished 26-6, the most single- season wins in the program's history.
