Developmental Reading and Writing Labs

On Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9am to 6pm, the instructional assistants of the A119 Writing Center offer help with developmental reading and writing homework assignments. All students may visit the Writing Center (A119) for help with essay assignments throughout the week, but A119 will be happy to also help with reading and writing homework on these particular days (Tuesday and Wednesday). Please come and see us! We would love to help you.
*We are very fortunate to have an exceptional tutoring team here at Blinn. In addition to having writing backgrounds, the instructional assistants complete hours of training under the supervision of the director and veteran instructional assistants. All are certified (or being certified) at various levels of the CRLA (College Reading and Learning Association) training program--a nationally recognized standard that is recognized as "the most useful for verifying a tutor training program at the college or university level" (The Writing Center Director's Resource Book 2006).
