To establish your own Yahoo! address and send a message to your
instructor:
 | Go to http://www.yahoo.com |
| On the left-hand side of the screen, near the top, click on Yahoo! Mail. |
| Click on "Sign me up!" |
| Choose an e-mail name and password, then provide the requested information. |
| Write down your user name, password, and the answer to your secret question. |
| At the bottom of the page, make sure your review the terms of service. If you agree, then click on "Submit." |
| Once you sign on to Yahoo!, click "Compose." |
| Write a brief message stating your name, your course and section number, and anything else you would like your instructor to know about you. |
| Click "Send." |
Hotmail
To establish your own Hotmail address and send a message to your
instructor:
| Go to http://www.hotmail.com |
| Click on "Sign up now!" |
| Scroll down through all of the terms and click "I Accept." |
| Answer all of the questions. |
| Write down your user name, password, and the answer to your secret question. |
| Once you sign on to Hotmail, click "Compose." |
| Write a brief message stating your name, your course and section number, and anything else you would like your instructor to know about you. |
| Click "Send." |
