News
[This is where I will post announcements and other (hopefully current) information (reminders about upcoming homework, exams and quizzes, due dates for labs, notes about updates to the Web site, etc.)]
  • Please look over the math review notes and ask me about any questions you may have over this.
  • You will need to get (ASAP) your own copy of the Physics 1401 Laboratory Manual from the Copy Center on the first floor of the G Building (Bookstore Building).

Required Materials

  • Texbook: Physics, James S. Walker, 3rd ed, Prentice-Hall, 2007 (Vol I). This text is available at many local bookstores.

  • Physics 1401 Laboratory Manual: Available for a nominal fee at the copy center on the first floor of the G Building on the Blinn campus.
  • MasteringPhysics access code: This is the online homework system we will be using. An access code is bundled with new and used copies of the Walker text in the Blinn Bookstore. You can also purchase an access code separately on the MasteringPhysics Web site.
