Welcome to B.R.A.S.S.
Brazos Region Astronomy Service Society is a student sponsored service society with membership open to the community. Our mission is to provide a forum to the community for the sharing of astronomy and astronomy related topics.
Main Activities
- Meetings and other programs: for amateur astronomers to discuss observation methods, observation results, theories in astrophysics, and other topics of interest to the membership
- Star parties: viewing sessions for solar system objects, deep sky objects, meteor showers, and fellowship. Service visits to public schools and groups such as Boy/Girl Scouts and Boy's/ Girl's Clubs

- First Meeting: Friday, 09/28, at 1:30 pm in room G-233
- Meetings will be held on the second and forth Fridays of each month at 1:30 pm in room G-233
- Observing Secession Wed. Oct 10th 8pm outside of the G building.
