What DO I do if . . .

I miss a test?

Contact your teacher IMMEDIATELY!!  All teachers will have some sort of make-up policy in practice -- consult your first day handouts. Most teachers will not allow a make-up if the papers have been returned to the class. If you know ahead of time that you will be missing a test for an excused absence, make arrangements with your teacher before the test date.

• Send an e-mail to your teacher.
• Call your teacher and leave a message on the answering machine if necessary.
• Visit your teacher during office hours.
