I have taught 30 years at Blinn College; prior to that I taught at colleges/universities in Illinois, Michigan, Missouri, and at Texas A&M. My major in college was English, and my minor was history. I see a close correlation between the two fields and teach literary selections as products of the time period in which they were written.

Foreign Language Placement Exam:
If you have had a foreign language in high school or are a native speaker, you may take our Division’s Placement Exam (no charge) to determine the level course in which you should enroll. Since this is only a placement exam, no credit is given for any course(s) you may be allowed to skip due to your placement test score.
