I began teaching in 1988 at Sam
Houston State University in
Huntsville, where I taught Freshman English and Developmental English.
While working on my Ph.D., I taught Freshman English, Introduction
to Literature, and Technical Writing at Texas
A&M
University.
Since 2001, I've taught Composition and Rhetoric
(English 1301), Composition and Introduction to Literature
(English 1302), and Technical Writing (English 2311) at Blinn Junior
College. In addition to teaching, I have four years of experience
working as a technical writer, web master, and researcher for the Texas
Transportation Institute.
I received a Bachelor of Arts in
Journalism (with a minor in German) in 1986 and a Master of Arts
in British Romantic literature
in 1988 from Sam Houston and my Ph.D. in British Gothic literature
from Texas A&M in 1997. |
