- Must hold a Bachelor's degree or higher
from a regionally accredited institution of higher education (official
transcripts must be sent to TEACH Program Director)
- Must have a 2.5 or higher overall GPA (Minimum
of 12 English/Social Science hours and 12 Math/Science hours required)
- MUST present minimum scores
from one of the following:
THEA:
Reading:
250
Mathematics: 250
Writing: 220
ACT:
English: 19
Mathematics: 19
SAT:
Verbal: 500
Mathematics: 500
ACCUPLACER:
Reading Comprehension: 78
Elementary Algebra: 80
Sentence Skills: 63
Written Essay: 6
Additional requirements
for candidates who meet primary requirements are as follows:
- Must participate in a structured personal
interview with TEACH program representatives
- Must complete a computer literacy skills
test
- Must have three letters of reference sent
to TEACH Program Assistant
