University Transfer Center

Mission

The University Transfer Center is committed to providing quality customer service and current information about four-year university transfer opportunities, programs, and services available to Blinn College students.

Vision

The University Transfer Center will serve Blinn College students and the surrounding community as the premier and centralized venue for facilitating the transfer transition process to four-year universities.

Programs
The University Transfer Center serves as a resource center to students preparing for transfer to baccalaureate granting institutions and as a focal point for information concerning programs, resources, and services to ensure a smooth transition to four-year colleges and universities.

Students have access to university articulation agreements and a current catalog collection from Texas public universities including: Texas A&M University, Sam Houston State University, Texas State University-San Marcos, University of Houston, and The University of Texas. Computer workstations are available for students to access university web pages, electronic transfer and articulation guides, and scholarship opportunities.

The UTC Academic Advising team is available to meet one-on-one with students to assist them with academic planning, choosing a major, academic course selection, and the transfer application process. Representatives from four-year institutions will also be available for individual appointments to evaluate student records and facilitate the university transfer process.

Hours of Operation
Evening advising is only available in the University Transfer Center (UTC) on Monday and Tuesday until 7 p.m.  Appointments are not necessary. Students wishing to be advised after 5 p.m. should be directed to the UTC (located behind the Science Building) on Mondays and Tuesdays only.
