Follow these steps to Register for classes

at Blinn College

For registration dates, please see the Academic Calendar

To be eligible to register for classes students must meet the following requirements:

New students:

1. Have a complete admissions file
2. Either have been advised or signed a self-advising waiver form

   To be eligible to use the waiver form, a student must be exempt or have passed all three sections of the Texas Success Initiative (TSI)

3. Have no registration holds on their account. You can go to BORIS to see if you have any holds

Returning students:

1. If you DID NOT attend Blinn College during the last long semester, you must submit an updated application for admissions.
2. Have your latest transcript from any other school you attended on file
3. Be advised if you have not completed all three sections of TSI
4. Have no registration holds. You can go to BORIS to see if you have any holds

Online Registration - BORIS (Blinn Online Registration and Information System)

The most common way to register is on-line using BORIS.  You will need your six digit student ID# and password.  You may use the telephone registration system to look up your Blinn College student ID# by your social security number. The BORIS login page gives you information on your default password.

If you are having difficulty registering, you may be able to determine the problem through BORIS or by visiting Enrollment Services.  Some common reasons are you owe money, you haven't been advised, and you haven't completed the admissions process.

Telephone Registration

You may register by telephone. Students may call 979-821-0466. to register for classes on any Blinn campus -- Brenham, Bryan, Schulenburg and Sealy.

The system is automated. Students must enter their Blinn identification number and follow the instructions. Payment for classes may also be done over the phone using a credit card.

As in all registration methods at Blinn -- telephone, on-line or in person -- only students who have completed their files with the Admissions Office and have been assigned an I.D. number may register.

In Person Registration

During designated periods, students can come to any Blinn College campus and register. Check the the Academic Calendar for on-campus registration dates and times.
