We are excited to announce Blinn College’s first Fall Graduation Ceremony. The ceremony will be held on Friday, December 19 at 6:30pm in the Bryan Civic Auditorium, 800 South Coulter Drive, Bryan, TX 77802.
A reception will be hosted for all graduates and their families prior to graduation at the Blinn College Student Center in Bryan. This reception will be hosted by the Blinn College Alumni & Friends Association and will give graduates and their families an opportunity to see what the Alumni & Friends have to offer. The reception starts at 4:30 pm and will conclude at 5:30 pm.If you are eligible to receive your degree, certificate or marketable skills awards at the end of the Fall 2014 semester, please apply for graduation through your myBlinn account.
Students who plan to graduate from Blinn College at the end of the current semester should do the following:
1. Prior to graduation, submit an application.
2. Comply with all requirements (pertaining to your degree, certificate, or Achievement Award) as detailed in the Blinn College Catalog.
3. All holds must be cleared.
Diplomas do not reflect specific majors for the Associate in Arts and Associate in Science degrees.
Many students choose to attend Blinn College the same semester they are to graduate from a senior university. Contact the transcript request office at firstname.lastname@example.org early in the semester to arrange the transfer of Blinn hours to these schools prior to graduation.
Formal commencement exercises are held at the close of the regular Spring and Fall semesters. Diplomas and certificates are presented at the ceremony.
Summer graduates and those who do not participate in the Spring or Fall ceremony will receive their diploma/certificate in the mail.
